Established Family Operated Winery
The winery was built at the end of the 19th century by the Rijo family. In 1993 it was acquired by its current owners, the Melián family, since then the oldest viticultural traditions have been combined with the most advanced processing technology in the monitoring of quality control.
This family winery is among the most visited wineries in Spain as it is located in a unique enclave such as La Geria, a wine area par excellence on the island of Lanzarote. From the winery you can appreciate unbeatable views of the vineyards planted in holes and dug in the sand and surrounded by a mantle of volcanic ash. In turn, you can see in the background the volcanoes of Timanfaya National Park.
